GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Graves County High School Spanish Club students and teachers traveled to Cheekwood Park in Nashville, Tenn., to celebrate the annual Día de los Muertos.
The “Day of the Dead” honors deceased relatives. The GCHS group participated in several craft activities and observed several traditions of the Mexican holiday. They saw performances of Mexican regional and Aztec dances as well. Before returning home, the students dined at La Hacienda Tortillería and visited the adjacent bakery to enjoy the Mexican dessert called "pan."
