Clinton man arrested on 62 counts of child porn | Crime

CLINTON, KY (KFVS) - Kentucky State Police say a sexual abuse allegation led to the discovery of child pornography.

KSP got a search warrant for the Clinton, Ky. home of 54-year-old Jerry Mayfield after a child made that abuse allegation against him.

Police say they found 62 images believed to be child pornography on Mayfield's cell phone.

Officers arrested Mayfield at his home.  He was taken to the Graves County Jail facing 62 county of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.

The investigation against Mayfield continues.
