Graves Co. Sheriff: "Lil Moose" arrested after six-month drug investigation

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The Graves County Sheriff's Department arrested De Angelo "Lil Moose" Collins on Tuesday after an investigation into the largest supplier of cocaine in Mayfield and Graves County.

Collins, 30, of Mayfield was arrested in Fulton and charged with first degree trafficking of a controlled substance, first degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of guns by a convicted felon.

Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says this arrest brings to a close the six month investigation of the largest supplier of cocaine in Mayfield and Graves County. According to Redmon, a large amount of cash and weapons were seized during the arrest. He says officers set up a surveillance in the Fulton area on Monday and arrested Collins around 11:15 a.m.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office and the Drug Enforcement Agency were assisted by Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Section and the Fulton Police Department. David Harrison and Brad Smith were the lead investigators during the case.
