LOWES, KY (KFVS) - Two Lowes residents face numerous burglary and theft charges.

John Hale, 41, and Angela Hale, 33, both of Lowes face charges for up to 16 burglaries and thefts dating back to February.

Graves County has recently had numerous daytime burglaries and thefts.

Late Monday evening deputies received a tip that someone was attempting to sell two stolen Honda four-wheelers that came from a home in the north part of the county.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon and his deputies responded to a house in Lowes and found that it had been vacated by the Hale family.

Redmon and the deputies worked until early Tuesday morning to find the stolen four-wheelers.

Two deputies traveled to Henderson and along with the Henderson Police Department served a search warrant at a home there.

John and Angela Hale were arrested. They have been charged in Henderson on various firearm and theft related offenses.

Police recovered and seized several items from the home in Henderson. Deputies got a U-Haul rental truck and loaded a large amount of stolen items onto the truck and returned them to Graves County.  Those items included the two Honda four-wheelers, lawn mowers, lawn care equipment, tools, firearms and numerous pieces of electronics. A large amount of jewelry was also recovered.

Investigators are in the process of inventorying all the items and checking the case files to match up who the items belong to. When they are completed, people will be contacted to either come identify their belongings or pick them up.

The Hales will be transported back to Graves County and taken to the jail after they appear in court in Henderson County.
