Mayfield man charged with burglary after report of stolen go-cart

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says a 48-year-old Mayfield man was arrested for stealing a go-cart.

Charles May was charged with third degree burglary, theft by deception of up to $500 and receiving stolen property of up to $500. He was taken to the Graves County Jail.

According to Redmon, his office took a complaint that a go-cart was taken from a storage building recently off of KY 303 south of Mayfield. He says a deputy got information that the stolen go-cart was sold to a local businessman in Mayfield.

Redmon says the go-cart was recovered and returned to the owner.
