Graves Co. deputies report 3 arrests from Friday

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The Graves County Sheriff's Office report three arrests on Friday, one a police chase and the other two for drug trafficking.

Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says a man has been arrested and taken to the Graves County Jail after a vehicle pursuit and foot chase Friday around 9:30 pm.

According to Redmon, his dispatch received a call of a vehicle traveling south on US 45 from McCracken County in a white Cadillac. He says a deputy saw the vehicle on Paducah Road near the Dick Castleman Bypass and was able to catch up with the vehicle. The deputy saw the driver run the stop light at 8th and Broadway and tried to stop the vehicle with his emergency equipment. Redmon says the driver pulled over at the intersection of 8th and Water.

As the deputy approached the vehicle, Redmon says the driver of the car took off and turned the wrong way on the one-way-street and proceeded toward 9th Street. Redmon says the driver continued on and pulled into a drive on Wilford Street and got out of his vehicle and ran. The deputy chased the suspect and was able to apprehend him a short time later.

The driver of the vehicle was Michael Pyle, 45, of Mayfield. He was charged with DUI 3rd aggravated circumstances, driving DUI on DUI suspended license 3rd aggravated circumstances, wanton endangerment 1st (Police Officer), fleeing and evading 1st motor vehicle, fleeing and evading 1st foot, resisting arrest, reckless driving and other traffic violations.

Also on Friday afternoon November 1, Redmon says deputies arrested a Tennessee man and a Calloway County resident and charged them with trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana and other traffic charges.

According to Redmon, Jonathon Jones, 28, of Springfield Tenn., and Aaron Ennis, 39, of Murray were taken to the Graves County Jail after the duo met with an undercover officer in Mayfield and tried to sell them a half-pound of marijuana. Deputies seized the marijuana and some cash from the pair.
