KSP, Post 1 lists activities for November | Crime

HICKORY, KY (KFVS) – The Kentucky State Police, Post 1, realised their monthly activity report.

Activity for the month of November is as follows:

• Criminal Cases Opened - 75
• Criminal Arrests - 229
• Citations Written - 2,190
•         Speed - 1,124
•         Seatbelt - 126
•         Child Restraint - 12
• Collisions Investigated - 96
• Fatalities (investigated by KSP) - 5
• Calls for Service - 793
• DUI Arrests - 51

Kentucky State Police, Post 1, covers the 11 counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg. 

In 2012 there have been 56 people killed in fatal collisions in the Post 1 area. Of those who died, 28 were not wearing a seatbelt and five were not wearing a helmet.
