Melber man arrested on drug, gun, unlawful imprisonment charges | Crime
GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A Graves County man has been arrested on multiple charges, including drug charges and charges of unlawful imprisonment.
Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon reports that Chance Richardson, 28, of Melber turned himself into detectives Wednesday at the Sheriff’s Office.
Richardson turned himself in after search warrants were executed on Monday, Feb. 11. Officers found illegal drugs and firearms.
Richardson was accompanied by his attorney when he surrendered himself.
Richardson was charged with two counts of wanton endangerment first degree, unlawful imprisonment first degree, possession of controlled substance first degree, two counts of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All the drug charges were firearms enhanced and if convicted of those charges will make the penalty of the crimes a longer prison term.
Details concerning the unlawful imprisonment and wanton endangerment charges were not immediately available.
Richardson was lodged in the Graves County Jail awaiting court proceedings.
