Car collision results in DUI charge for juvenile | Crime
GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - An unnamed juvenile was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a two car collision.
Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon reports that deputies responded around 7:50 p.m. Tuesday to US 45 South at KY 339 in Wingo on a two vehicle crash with injuries.
According to deputies, Faith Miller, 35, was traveling South on US 45 when a juvenile operating a motor vehicle without a license pulled out from the stop sign on KY 339 traveling West in the path of Miller’s vehicle.
Miller was unable to stop her vehicle before she struck the vehicle the juvenile was driving in the passenger door, causing possible injury to the juvenile.
The juvenile was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center to be treated for injuries.
The juvenile was also found to be under the influence of a drug and was cited to court for no operator’s license and DUI first degree.
