Motorcyclist injured, cited for DUI | Crime
GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Officers say a man was injured in a motorcycle crash caused by driving while under the influence of alcohol.
It happened at 1240 Swan Road around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Graves County deputies were dispatched to 706 Swan Road for a man that had been involved in a motorcycle accident.
The driver of the motorcycle was James J. Murdock.
Murdock was traveling west on Swan Road when he lost control of his motorcycle and laid the motorcycle down on the side of the road.
It is suspected that the contributing factor to the accident is alcohol, according to officers.
Murdock was taken to Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
He was not wearing a helmet.
Murdock was cited to court for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident.
