GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Graves County Eagle Foundation president David Hargrove recently presented a $34,000 check from the proceeds of the public appearance and talk of stars of A&E’s Duck Dynasty to Gayna Taylor, treasurer for New Pathways for Children.
Members of both groups were on hand for the presentation. New Pathways is a private, non-profit, faith-based residential treatment program for youth ages 10-18 licensed to serve 39 residents.
The organization will use the money to help pay for construction of a new girls’ home located near the main campus in Melber. The Eagle Foundation and New Pathways partnered to bring stars of the popular cable TV reality show to Graves County High School in early April.
Those appearing included Jase Robertson; his wife, Missy; and Jase’s Uncle Si Robertson. The event sold out more than 5,000 seats, as those in attendance heard a positive message based on traditional values of faith and family.
