Community Christmas Connection thanks Mayfield bank for donation to brighten holidays | Events

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Mayfield-Graves County Community Christmas Connection representatives, from left, Darlene Bryson, Lori Beyer, and Jennifer Morris gratefully accept a check for $200 from Mayfield’s First Kentucky Bank marketing director Laura Stinson.

The collaborative effort led by the family resource and youth services centers of the Graves County Schools and Mayfield Elementary School make the program successful. The flat economy has resulted in greater need this year and organizers are asking for additional donations of cash and toys.

“We’re happy to contribute,” Stinson said, “because the money donated and the hard work these ladies put into it makes Christmas special for kids who otherwise might not have much to celebrate.”
