You can send us your Prom pictures to cNews@kfvs12.com or click here to upload them. Don't forget to include your name, where you're from and what school you go to. Pictures will be used online in the slideshow and possibly on-air.

Graves County's 10th Annual 'Curtain Call' presents ‘All the World’s a Stage'

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - “All the world’s a stage,” Shakespeare wrote in one of his most-quoted passages, “And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages.”

Sounds like a great theme for a show and it is exactly that, as Graves County High School’s annual “Curtain Call” takes its cue from the Bard’s classic line from his play “As You Like It.”

Oh, and you will like it! How could you not? With the tremendous talent of Graves County High School’s Fine Arts and Health Sciences Academy and its wide variety of performers and performances – orchestra, choir, drama, and jazz band. In addition to a fresh crop of young talent with special guests of Graves County Central Elementary School’s widely-traveled and nationally-recognized Drama Club and Lowes Elementary’s exciting and growing drama club.

Central Elementary School students' families treated for their efforts

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Graves County Central Elementary School students pose in front of a limousine after Dairy Queen owner Scott Roper hosted them for a complimentary DQ meal and treat.

Students and families who met their Parent-Teacher Organization fundraising goals were recognized.

Events include:

Sedalia, Cates Kindergarten Parent/Grandparent lunch 10:50 a.m.
Symsonia, Running Club, 2:36 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Symsonia, 4-H, 2:36 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Graves Schools Bus Dept. to host BBQ lunch delivery benefit

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The Graves Schools' Bus Department will host a barbecue lunch delivery on Friday, April 26 to benefit the Relay for Life.

A barbecued pork sandwich, slaw, baked beans, chips and a homemade dessert altogether costs just $6 and can be delivered at no extra charge to local schools and businesses.

Individuals may stop by the bus garage to purchase a lunch.

The Graves County Schools’ Transportation Department sponsors the American Cancer Society Relay for Life fundraiser.
