2 accused of making meth in Graves County | News
GRAVES COUNTY (KFVS) - Police arrested two men for separate drug charges in Graves County Monday evening.
The first arrest happened at Cardinal Road in Mayfield, Ky. Officers went to the home of David Stephens, 43, to execute an arrest warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance. They discovered a meth lab while they were at the home.
Stephens was charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine, two counts of first degree wanton endangerment and first degree possession of controlled substance.
In an unrelated case, deputies made another meth arrest at 1505 KY 94 East; just south of Cuba, Ky.
Officers responded to the home to investigate a burglary. While speaking to the homeowner, they saw some of the stolen items on the floor of the home. Deputies then entered the home and located numerous other items that were reported stolen. They also found a backpack containing all the equipment and ingredients to manufacture methamphetamine.
Deputies arrested Robert McCormick, 32, and charged him with first degree burglary, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, third degree burglary and other drug related charges.
