GRAVES AND MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - West Kentucky United will be holding tryouts in January for spring teams.
The schedule of tryouts include:
Sunday, Jan. 13 at the Paducah Sportsplex
- 2 to 3 p.m. - For U8-U12 boys and girls
- 3 to 4 p.m. - For U13-U18 boys and girls
Monday, Jan. 14 at the Expo in Mayfield
- 6 to 7 p.m. - For U8-U12 boys and girls
- 7 to 8 p.m. - For U13-U18 boys and girls
WKYUnited teams are comprised of players from all over Western Kentucky. They have multiple "home" fields from Mayfield to Paducah to Calvert City to Benton. The group says they hold tryouts twice a year in the summer and in the winter for fall and spring seasons.
They say you only need to attend one of the two dates; however, you are welcome to attend both. They ask that players wear shin guards and bring a ball.
