GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Graves County Middle School has launched its own web site here in early 2013.

You can visit the website here: http://gcms.gcweb.graves.kyschools.us/.

Graves County High School launched its own site a few weeks ago at http://gchs.gcweb.graves.kyschools.us/. Graves County Schools’ Chief Information Officer John McMillen says several of the district’s other schools will follow suit in coming months.

GCHS has featured other, specific web sites for some time. They include the Graves County Eagle Foundation’s web site, initiated in the fall of 2011. It’s accessible at http://www.gravescountyeaglefoundation.com/. Another GCHS web site features band, inaugurated in 2006, at http://prideofgravescounty.org/. The official, district web site started in the 1990s and can be found on-line at www.graves.kyschools.us.

“Follow me on Twitter” is an icon that provides access to that social media via the district web site.

The district’s community relations department offers the opportunity to receive news updates of the week just ended on Friday afternoons. To receive them, email the community relations director with the subject line “Request News.” To receive Monday morning motivational emails, use the subject line “Monday Motivation.” To receive both, use the subject line “Send Both.” His email address is paul.schaumburg@graves.kyschools.us.
