ReStore to host micro-chipping event to benefit Habitat for Humanity

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The Mayfield-Graves County Habitat for Humanity, Inc. will host a micro-chipping event conducted by the Graves County Animal Shelter on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organizers say pets can be micro-chipped for $10. They say a new, smaller chip is available for tiny breeds of dogs and cats that will cost $15.

Proceeds from the sale of items benefit the building fund of the Mayfield-Graves County Habitat for Humanity, Inc. affiliate. They ask that you please make sure your pets are on a leash or in a carrier.

“We want to encourage any and all local clubs to host their events at the ReStore," said Executive Director Connie Hanner. “We want to be a part of the community, and introduce folks to the ReStore."

The ReStore is located at 901 Paducah Road (State Road 45 North) in Mayfield. Hours include Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
