UK Big Blue Legends basketball alumni vs. Mid-Continent University tickets reduced | Schools

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - University of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari slashed ticket prices to the alumni game the weekend of Sept. 15 in Lexington.

Now, Graves County High School has followed Coach Cal’s lead by cutting its alumni game ticket prices, too. Upper level tickets for entry to the game will cost only $5.

“We want everyone to come and support this event,” said GCHS athletic director Doug Gloyd. “We want the young kids to experience UK basketball from ten to 15 years ago. We have a variety of these UK players coming in and we want to make the atmosphere electric. We want people to support our local Mid-Continent University basketball team as well. They have a lot of good kids playing, and we want them to have an experience they will not forget.”

The UK Alumni will play the Cougars at the Eagles’ Nest, Graves High’s gymnasium, Saturday, Sept. 29. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Some of the Big Blue Legends include Antoine Walker, Walter McCarty, Derek Anderson, Wayne Turner and more. The event includes special appearances by James Lee and Jack “Goose” Givens as honorary coaches for the event.

Chair back seats cost $15 each. Lower level bleacher seats cost $10 each. Upper level bleacher seats cost $5.
