Cuba students tour school's cafeteria | Schools

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Most school students only view the cafeteria from the serving line each day. Students at Cuba Elementary dressed in food service aprons received a tour of the school's cafeteria where they got to see the walk-in freezer, refrigerator, dishwashing room, and food preparation areas.

A visit to the dry storage area brought surprise when students saw the #10 size cans of fruits & vegetables.  According to Cafeteria Manager Rita Wiggins, the kids were amazed at the size of the food containers and the food storage areas.

Pictured above are several fourth graders with Ms. Wiggins as they view the huge vats and pots that are used each day in the food preparation process.
