Cuba Elementary students treated to Samples of U.S. Navy life | Schools

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Cuba Elementary students recently had a visit from Petty Officer 3rd Class Kenneth Samples, United States Navy.

AD3 Samples is an aviation machinist mate stationed in Norfolk, Va. He is pictured here showing students his squadron photo and explaining the various responsibilities that sailors have in their daily jobs. He also explained what life is like in the military.

After the presentation, some students were asked to write about their views of life as a sailor. Samples is a 2006 graduate of Graves County High School and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Samples of Mayfield.
